No! The quick-service restaurant industry is one we know exceptionally well, and we make sure to share all our knowledge with new franchisees through comprehensive pre-opening training and ongoing support. Our guidance will be an important addition to your own skills, and we always make ourselves available to help you navigate franchise ownership for the life of your business.
We’re proud of the fact that thanks to our training and support, just about anyone who is financially qualified can take advantage of the Arby’s franchising opportunity to join our team. Having said that, we like to see candidates who are interested in building out more than one restaurant site, who have experience leading teams and following systems, and who are genuine and community-minded. Does this sound like you? If so, reach out!
Ours is a comprehensive investment that covers just about everything you’ll need to open your new restaurant. Your total initial investment for a freestanding location will be between $861,950 and $2,451,000. For a deeper dive into the numbers, check out our Investment page on this website.
Arby’s does not offer direct or indirect financing and will not guarantee your note, lease, or other obligations. We do, however, maintain a preferred list of lenders and are listed on the Franchise Registry as an approved SBA franchise.
Ours is a straightforward process that starts with you letting us know of your interest. You can do that here on our website by filling out a brief form. After we receive it, someone from our team will reach out to begin the conversation. We’ll get to know each other better to make sure our goals and values align, and if they do, we’ll move on to the next steps, which include reading our Franchise Disclosure Document and enjoying a Discovery Day. For more information, see our Process page.
The short answer is no. You’ll likely have a trusted team in place to run the day-to-day operations of your restaurants. It’s important, though, that you stay involved in the success of them and that you have a good understanding of their daily requirements.
